Beauty on View! Salon Launch Party Liverpool...

This Sunday I attended the launch party of the fabulous salon Beauty On View in Rainhill, Liverpool and I couldn't wait to tell you all about it. Owned by local entrepreneur Charlotte Pollock,

I love a good salon visit and what took me back the most was the high quality feel to this one. The treatment rooms upstairs scream luxury and it's a place you would really enjoy coming to for a relaxing facial or massage. I would say the whole package had a spa feeling at salon prices.... it would be absolutely perfect for a mother's day treat.

Beauty on View provides all the latest and most effective treatments including semi permanent make up, Elemis facials, HD and FaceFrame Brows and not forgetting the exclusive Chic Mink Lashes!

Charlotte has the unique advantage of actually running her own online beauty wholesale company, Chic Salon Supplies, for which she has created her own branded semi permanent eyelashes. I have never seen a more natural yet glamorous result.

Charlotte has been running her own salon for the last 4 years over in Ireland while she lived there with her partner, Danny, where her reputation had her overrun with clients and I have no doubt in my mind she'll do just as well here on home soil. The appointment booked filled up fast during the two hour launch so I'd book your appointments now ladies for your next big occasion! I'm already down for my spray tan and brows!

Find the salon here:
As always love any comments or suggestions from you guys

A Behinds the Scenes Look at a Bloggers Meet Up : What #NWBLOGGERSMEET was really like....

So this week I was one of 30 bloggers with and invite tho the North West Bloggers Meet Up in Liverpool, organised by the love Katie from Curvaceous Beauty.

This is the second meeting I've attended and the first one I've ever even heard has been held in Liverpool (although I must admit my research into meet ups is somewhat lacking). It's something that has always been a little out of my comfort zone as although I probably look quite a confident social girl to the outsider... meeting new people is actually one of my big dreads. If I'm in a good mood, I can turn on the smile and put the effort in to try and come up with something interesting to say but if I'm feeling a little out of sorts I find it so difficult to talk to anyone and become a social disaster!

So needless to say on Saturday morning I had had exactly 4 hours sleep after working at a singing job in the North East the night before and felt more than a little anxious!!

I absolutely needn't have worried.... I can't tell you enough how much I enjoyed this event! Being in a room with like minded people... many of whom probably feeling exactly the same as me, all sharing our passion for creating content felt amazing. But I don't want to get ahead of myself... let's start with

The Button Boutique on Brick Street in Liverpool is like something out of a dream. I am completely shocked that I never knew of it's existence as it's everything that I love all in one. Beautifully decorated and owned and run by the lovely Gemma Longworth, who looked after us all with tea and cake in the most beautuiful little teacups. The button boutique provides craft workshops and classes for both children and adults. There are weekly classes and clubs along with private packages for children's parties and Hen dos! My partner has a five year old daughter and I will definitely be taking her along to a class in the Easter holiday.. but ssshhhh! Don't tell her, it's a surprise treat! Next on the list is

What can I say about Georgina from She Might Be Loved. She gave a talk that was not only inspiring and made me want to grab my laptop immediately but also really helpful. So many people fill you with fluff that is just talk and not actually useful for anyone, this girl gave tips we could all go home and use straight away and answered any questions we had honestly (both before and after the event) . Not to mention the fact that she has the best eyebrows and lipstick I have seen up close in real life. Am I going to far with my girl crush???? A great blogger doing amazingly well and so down to earth that even I felt comfortable to go over and have a chat with her with my lack of sleep and nerves. Go check her out and follow her blog if you don't already, she deserves it. And then we come to

If you haven't been to a Blogger Meet before, some (not all) invite brands along to set up a display and have a chat with the attendees about their product and do some demonstrations.
I personally think this idea is great because it is win/win for both brand and blogger. At this event the brand were Tropic Skincare by Susan Ma (and Alan Sugar) and boutique style accessories company Stella & Dot.

I had vaguely heard of tropic before. I am a big fan of the apprentice and Susan Ma is the only non winning candidate that Sir Alan Sugar has invested in after the show. The line's main selling point is that they are cruelty free and organic. The actual packaging is very similar to the Liz Earle range I feel but I have heard great things since leaving the event when researching this brand, particularly their new make up range. I was impressed by the demonstration of their brow define palettes. The ease of use and quality of result was great for anyone a little nervous about defining their brows with make up.

Then there was Stella & Dot. I have to say I was super impressed with this brand. Elizabeth Cooper was the brand ambassador that chatted with us about the products and brand background and her relaxed, no hard sell approach was really appealing. The accessories and jewellery were right up my street, so much so I have debated becoming a stylist of theirs myself! You can buy their jewellery online or you can host a trunk show which in a nutshell is a similar concept to an Anne Summers Party where you invite your friends round to view and buy some products and you as a hostess can get products free! There's also opportunities to become a stylist, like Elizabeth. Since the meet I've been in touch with Elizabeth to host my own trunk party and maybe some other exciting things for the future... watch this space!!

And finally...

Everyone wants to know what kind of things you get in the goody bag... well this blog post is getting a little long so I've decided to show you!! I will be posting a video on my youtube channel TaraFrostedPlanet later this week so pop on over and subscribe so you don't miss it!

Overall, this event couldn't have been more enjoyable. The other bloggers there were fantastic and I encourage you to go and follow them all. I've listed them in this twitter list.

Big thanks to Curvaceous beauty for organising, I don't know how she did it but I very glad she did! Any questions let me know and as always lots of love lovelies xXx
